Ingredients

1 -1/2 tbsp Ghee or Coconut oil
2 Fuji or Gala apples, peeled, halved, cored, and thinly sliced
Pinch of coarse salt
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or a mixture of ginger, cinnamon and cardamom
Directions
Melt ghee in a skillet, add apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, pinch salt.
Sauté 5-10 minutes until softened. Alternately, you can mix the ingredients then cover and let steam until done.
